Store Closing Liquidation

Closing a store comes with a hard deadline: a lease end, a move-out date or a final day of trading. Whatever is still on the shelves and in the stockroom has to go somewhere. We purchase remaining store inventory outright, so you can close on schedule without managing weeks of markdowns.

Seller submissions are reviewed by Overstock Heroes, the liquidation and excess-inventory company that sources inventory for Everything Liquidated.

Who this is for

  • Independent retailers and boutique owners closing a location
  • Regional chains consolidating or exiting markets
  • Franchise owners selling out of remaining stock
  • Landlords and property managers dealing with inventory left after a tenant closes

What inventory we buy

  • Remaining shelf and backroom merchandise
  • Seasonal and display stock
  • Partial cases, broken assortments and mixed departments
  • Inventory pulled back to a distribution center from closing stores
  • General merchandise across health and beauty, household, apparel, footwear, toys, electronics and more

Situations we can help with

  • Lease expiration: the space must be empty by a fixed date.
  • Going-out-of-business sale wrap-up: the sale ended and inventory is still left.
  • Multi-store consolidation: stock from closed locations is piling up at the stores that remain.
  • Owner retirement or sale of the business: the new owner doesn’t want the old inventory.

Planning around your closing date

Tell us your deadline in your submission. Knowing the date, location and an approximate amount of inventory helps us review the opportunity and talk through freight or pickup timing that fits your schedule. Our focus is merchandise; if you also have fixtures or equipment, mention them and we’ll let you know whether we can help.

FAQs

Should I run a clearance sale first?

That’s your call. Some owners sell what they can and then send us the remainder. Others prefer one bulk sale from the start. Either way, tell us what will be left and when.

Do you buy inventory from just one store?

Yes. Single-location closings are welcome. Send us the details and we’ll evaluate the opportunity.

Can you pick up from the store?

Yes. In most purchases, our team handles the freight or pickup logistics, including scheduling, carriers and transportation coordination, and the logistics cost is typically covered as part of our offer. You don’t have to arrange it yourself.

Will you buy everything in the store?

Send us everything that’s left, including partial cases, mixed departments, damaged goods and odds and ends. We’ll evaluate the whole opportunity, so don’t sort anything out first.

How it works

  1. Submit your inventory

Share whatever you have: product details, quantities, condition, location, photos, manifests or spreadsheets. Incomplete information is fine.

  2. We review it

We look at every opportunity, whatever its condition, and evaluate what it’s worth to us.

  3. We follow up

We follow up about next steps. When we buy, our team typically handles the freight or pickup logistics.
