Sell Customer Returns & Shelf Pulls

Processing returns one item at a time is expensive: inspecting, repackaging, relisting and restocking often costs more than the item is worth. We purchase customer returns and shelf pulls in bulk, so returned and pulled merchandise turns back into cash instead of stacking up in the back room.

Seller submissions are reviewed by Overstock Heroes, the liquidation and excess-inventory company that sources inventory for Everything Liquidated.

Who this is for

  • Retailers and e-commerce brands with growing return volumes
  • Returns processors and reverse-logistics providers
  • Distributors receiving returns back from retail accounts
  • Stores clearing shelf pulls after resets, planogram changes or package updates

What inventory we buy

  • Customer returns: opened, used, unopened or untested returned products
  • Shelf pulls: new products removed from shelves due to resets, overstock or packaging changes
  • Box-damaged items: product in good condition with damaged retail packaging
  • Mixed returns pallets and gaylords: unsorted loads across categories
  • Sorted returns: loads already graded or grouped by category or condition

Returns vs. shelf pulls

Shelf pulls are typically new, unused products taken off the shelf. Customer returns can range from unopened to used or defective. Both are welcome. They’re valued differently, so if you know which is which, mention it in your submission.

Situations we can help with

  • Post-holiday returns surge: January volumes overwhelm your processing capacity.
  • Store resets: seasonal changeovers and planogram updates create pallets of pulls.
  • Return-to-vendor backlog: returns are stuck waiting on vendor credits that may never come.
  • Cost of processing: inspecting low-value returns individually doesn’t make financial sense.

FAQs

Do returns need to be tested or sorted first?

No. Unsorted and untested inventory is welcome. Send us whatever information you have, such as photos, manifests, quantities or condition notes, and we’ll work from there.

What should I include?

A manifest or item list if you have one, pallet or carton counts, photos of representative pallets, the category mix and your location.

Do you buy returns that include damaged or non-working items?

Yes. We consider inventory in virtually every condition, including damaged, non-working, salvage, mixed-condition and untested merchandise. Don’t assume it has no value. Send us the details and we’ll evaluate the opportunity.

Can you set up a recurring arrangement?

If you generate returns or pulls on a regular basis, mention it in your submission so we can discuss whether an ongoing arrangement makes sense.

How it works

  1. Submit your inventory

Share whatever you have: product details, quantities, condition, location, photos, manifests or spreadsheets. Incomplete information is fine.

  2. We review it

We look at every opportunity, whatever its condition, and evaluate what it’s worth to us.

  3. We follow up

We follow up about next steps. When we buy, our team typically handles the freight or pickup logistics.
