Freight Claims & Rejected Freight

A refused delivery or a damaged-in-transit claim can leave a full trailer or a stack of pallets with nowhere to go. We purchase rejected, overage and claim-settled freight outright, helping carriers, brokers and shippers clear their docks and recover value.

Seller submissions are reviewed by Overstock Heroes, the liquidation and excess-inventory company that sources inventory for Everything Liquidated.

Important: We purchase and liquidate freight and merchandise only. We do not file, manage, adjust or negotiate freight claims.

Who this is for

  • Motor carriers and LTL terminals holding refused or unclaimed freight
  • Freight brokers resolving a rejected load for a customer
  • Shippers who own goods after a consignee refused delivery
  • Cross-docks and warehouses holding OS&D (over, short and damaged) freight

What inventory we buy

  • Full truckloads refused at delivery
  • Partial loads and individual pallets from refused or undeliverable shipments
  • Overage freight with no matching consignee
  • Goods released to the carrier or insurer after a cargo claim is paid
  • Shipments with damaged packaging but saleable product

Situations we can help with

  • Consignee refusal: the receiver rejected the load for late arrival, a wrong count or an order cancellation.
  • Undeliverable freight: the business at the delivery address closed or never responded.
  • Claim settled, goods remain: the claim has been paid and someone now has to dispose of the freight.
  • Terminal congestion: OS&D freight is taking up dock space and accruing storage.

What helps us review rejected freight

Rejected freight often sits in a trailer or on a dock where every day costs money. Include the commodity, piece or pallet count, bill of lading details if you can share them, photos and the current location. Send us what you have and we’ll evaluate the opportunity.

FAQs

Can you pick up from a terminal or trailer?

Yes. In most purchases, our team handles the freight or pickup logistics, including scheduling, carriers and transportation coordination, and the logistics cost is typically covered as part of our offer. You don’t have to arrange it yourself.

Who needs to approve the sale?

Whoever legally owns the goods at that point, such as the shipper, the carrier after a paid claim, or an insurer. If you’re not sure who can approve the sale, submit anyway and tell us the situation.

Do you buy loads with mixed condition?

Yes. Mixed-condition, damaged and partially damaged loads are all worth sending. Photos help, but send whatever you have.

Is any freight too damaged to send?

No. Damaged, refused, overage and temperature-affected loads can still have value. Send us the details and we’ll evaluate the opportunity.

How it works

  1. Submit your inventory

Share whatever you have: product details, quantities, condition, location, photos, manifests or spreadsheets. Incomplete information is fine.

  2. We review it

We look at every opportunity, whatever its condition, and evaluate what it’s worth to us.

  3. We follow up

We follow up about next steps. When we buy, our team typically handles the freight or pickup logistics.
