Insurance Claim Inventory Liquidation
After a loss is settled, the merchandise involved often still has value. We purchase salvage and claim-related inventory outright once it has been released for sale, giving insurers, adjusters and businesses a direct way to recover value from goods that would otherwise be scrapped.
Seller submissions are reviewed by Overstock Heroes, the liquidation and excess-inventory company that sources inventory for Everything Liquidated.
Important: We purchase and liquidate inventory only. We do not provide legal, insurance-adjusting or claims-handling services, and we do not represent any party in a claim.
Who this is for
- Insurance carriers and salvage departments
- Independent and staff adjusters handling merchandise losses
- Businesses that have been paid on a claim and now hold the salvage
- Logistics and freight companies holding goods from a settled cargo claim
What inventory we buy
- Cargo and transit-loss salvage
- Merchandise from water, smoke or weather-related events, where the goods remain safe to resell
- Inventory with packaging damage but saleable product inside
- Goods from a business-interruption or facility event after release
- Mixed loads that need sorting before resale
Situations we can help with
- Settled cargo claims: the carrier or insurer owns the goods and needs a buyer.
- Retail and warehouse losses: part of the stock is damaged, part is fine, and both need to move.
- Salvage after a settlement: the business was paid and must dispose of the remaining merchandise.
- Time-sensitive storage: salvage is sitting in a warehouse or trailer and accruing charges.
Condition
Salvage often still has real value, even when packaging or product has been damaged by water, smoke or handling. Send photos and whatever condition notes you have, and we’ll evaluate the opportunity.
FAQs
Can you help me with my claim?
No. We don’t advise on, adjust, negotiate or handle insurance claims. We only purchase inventory that is available for sale.
When should I contact you?
As early as you like. We can complete a purchase once the inventory is released for sale and you have the right to sell it, but you’re welcome to submit before then so we can start evaluating it.
Do you provide documentation of the sale?
Tell us in your submission what records you need, such as a bill of sale, and we’ll confirm what we can provide during review.
Can you pick up from the loss location?
Yes. In most purchases, our team handles the freight or pickup logistics, including scheduling, carriers and transportation coordination, and the logistics cost is typically covered as part of our offer. You don’t have to arrange it yourself.
